Starting from one blue line, Jarvis and Beckman are in footrace, Jarvis with the puck. By the redline, Jarvis has a stride, though he had a bit more run to start with and Beckman had a bit of traffic. At the next blue line, Jarvis has to slide right to evade a defender, and Beckman is about even again. I'd give the edge to Jarvis, but Beckman was close.

Beckman is a well-rounded player with a scorer's touch and feel around the offensive zone. He skates well, works hard in all three zones, and plays an attentive and aware game. He lacks physicality but goes to high-traffic areas when he needs to. Good passer, good vision, though neither are particularly top end. He played a lot of minutes in all situations, and when he was on the ice, the puck typically ended up in the offensive zone. He could be a top-six winger at the NHL level if he continues to develop.
