Scores the game-winning goal on a sharp wrist shot. What I liked was how he seemed to recognize that he had a little space and time, and slowed the game around himself to pick out the right spot to shoot at.

McMichael may not have elite acceleration and top-end speed, but he makes up for it in effort and drive. He does have above average to good mobility, and his mechanics look like he has room to improve, so skating should not be an issue at all. He plays the game hard, constantly pushing into the offensive zone, and is a positive possession player with skill who could develop into a quality middle-six forward at the NHL level.
