Had a lot of notes on him in the game, perhaps because he was so identifiable with his wrestler's crouch style. A hard working, physical player who was excellent on the forecheck and solid on defense in his end. Gave and took hits as necessary, without crossing the line or getting out of position. However, Legare was not effective on offense in the game, and did little to contribute when he had the puck, which may be more indicative of the role he was asked to play in this Top Prospects game more than actual ability. Needs viewings in a different context.
