Max Jones game is one built on speed and tenacity but the lack of hockey sense, in terms of the ability to play within the rules and on the line instead of blowing though it. He only took one penalty in two games but it was a double-minor that was reckless. He has a pro-ready frame and speed to spare. The translation of his offensive ability is likely limited, but could be a greasy area goal scorer who relies on his speed to beat players to positions. Physically ready, it is all about seasoning and mental maturity before he gets a crack at the big show.
