The CHL’s version of Joey LaLeggia, a lot has to go right in his development to have a shot. Did not like his defensive play at all, and one wonders how he would do on a team that didn’t have 5-8 top 90 prospects. Not a fan.

Victor Mete is a small defenseman, but one that has the tools to make it work at the next levels of play. His skating is excellent and fluid in all aspects. His stickhandling is above average and he is comfortable when moving the puck in traffic. He can work a power play and isn’t lost in his own zone. His size is the only question mark, and it’s a big one. But the tools are all there.
