Jonathan LekkerimakiNoteGets a puck high slot with his back to the net after a turnover, curls to his right and exits the turn at the top of the left circle with the puck already loaded for a wrist shot. Jonathan LekkerimakiNoteFinally going hard (backchecking) and his form looks excellent. Smooth, no shoulder swing, nice extensions. Judged his speed requirement well.Brian FogartySweden vs Slovakia (Hlinka-Gretzky Cup 2021)8/4/20215/4/202210260
Jonathan LekkerimakiNoteOne-times a snap shot on a loose puck. He does not need encouragement to shoot.Brian FogartySweden vs Slovakia (Hlinka-Gretzky Cup 2021)8/4/20215/4/202210260

Jonathan LekkerimakiNoteNot working a lot off the puck, but he's finding the puck on his stick.Brian FogartySweden vs Slovakia (Hlinka-Gretzky Cup 2021)8/4/20215/4/202210260
Jonathan LekkerimakiSummaryLekkerimaki is a shoot-first forward who looks like he wants nothing more in life than to put the puck in the net. His wrist shot is dangerous, with a fast release and a lot of heat behind it. Several times his shot bothered the goaltender (who played an excellent game). I don't recall a single shot of Lekkerimaki's that did not result in an awkward rebound as Elias fought them off. He has good vision, but he is not a playmaking forward at this point. Skating is interesting. He has excellent dimensional movement due to his edgework, but he doesn't show exceptional speed or acceleration.Brian FogartySweden vs Slovakia (Hlinka-Gretzky Cup 2021)8/4/20215/4/202210260
Jonathan LekkerimakiNoteHe is constantly involved in the play at the offensive end. Not focusing on him, but he keeps making plays.Brian FogartySweden vs Germany (Hlinka-Gretzky Cup 2021)8/2/20213/10/202210258
Jonathan LekkerimakiNoteDrives the net, pulls across, shoots far side, saved. Brian FogartySweden vs Germany (Hlinka-Gretzky Cup 2021)8/2/20213/10/202210258
