Has the puck , trying to get to the high slot, takes a solid hit from Peterson, but keeps his feet and the puck, shifts to the backhand because he got turned by the hit, slips a pass back to Anderson and sets him up perfectly for a dangerous shot from the hashmarks.

He has the size, skating and scoring ability to be a good producing winger in the NHL, but he'll need to learn to play better within his limits. Sometimes, he's trying to do too much, and he was not particularly effective in this game. He did show some flashes of creativity and pure puck skills, but overall, with little help from his teammates, he did not show that well. I have a feeling I wasn't seeing him on his best night and the US U18s are a tough squad to battle.
