Hague has improved measurably on the defensive end of the ice since I watched him earlier in the year. He seemed less inclined to chase players for big hits, but played a more contained defense. Still had mental lapses, but progress is there. Has a good nose for the offensive game.

Long, slow-footed strides, but his legs are so long he covers a lot of ice surface

Tall, offensively-minded defender with long legs and a long stride. He's not as agile as I'd like, and he gets turned around at times in the defensive zone and has difficulty sticking with quick forwards if he can't block their path.
