Player Notes:
Player Name | Note Type | Note | Writer | Game Watched | Method Viewing | Game Date | Game |
Brendan Brisson | Note | Tries to slip a little pass across the crease to a wide open Beecher, but the puck clips the defender's skate and bobbles out of Beecher's reach. | Brian Fogarty | Michigan vs Arizona State (NCAA) | Video (With Replay) | 11/14/2020 | 10224 |
Brendan Brisson | Note | Driving the high slot without the puck, but the pass was too hard and into his skates. I'd like to see him adjust a bit better, but that was tough handle. | Brian Fogarty | Michigan vs Arizona State (NCAA) | Video (With Replay) | 11/14/2020 | 10224 |
Brendan Brisson | Note | Rips a pass through traffic, but I think that it surprised Beecher, and the puck skips out into the neutral zone. | Brian Fogarty | Michigan vs Arizona State (NCAA) | Video (With Replay) | 11/14/2020 | 10224 |
Brendan Brisson | Note | Another creative feed, this time a lateral pass back between his legs. He's clever with the puck. | Brian Fogarty | Chicago vs Madison (USHL) | Video (With Replay) | 2/28/2020 | 10218 |
Brendan Brisson | Note | He looks like a player who really likes to use his edges, shifting, changing speeds and skating lines, dancing out there. | Brian Fogarty | Chicago vs Madison (USHL) | Video (With Replay) | 2/28/2020 | 10218 |
Brendan Brisson | Note | In a footrace with Bantle who was carrying the puck, and Brisson is matching him with not much effort. | Brian Fogarty | Chicago vs Madison (USHL) | Video (With Replay) | 2/28/2020 | 10218 |
Brendan Brisson | Note | Quick shot off a feed from the corner. | Brian Fogarty | Chicago vs Madison (USHL) | Video (With Replay) | 2/28/2020 | 10218 |
Brendan Brisson | Summary | Brisson's game is built up from his outstanding skating ability, which allows him to outmaneuver most players on the ice against him. He can evade and turn opponents with little effort, and has the hands necessary to make plays that his feet afford him. Probably the most effective player in the game, involved in the play on nearly every shift, and willing to get his hands a bit dirty. He generally avoided physical contact, but was willing to take a hit when necessary. He looks a lot like a second-line NHL winger. | Brian Fogarty | Chicago vs Madison (USHL) | Video (With Replay) | 2/28/2020 | 10218 |
Brendan Brisson | Note | Cutting to the net, pass comes behind him, reaches back, receives it, continues into a 360-degree spin and at the end of it fires a pass back across the crease, and Colangelo finishes. That’s what truly nimble skating and good hands and vision can do. | Brian Fogarty | Chicago vs Madison (USHL) | Video (With Replay) | 2/28/2020 | 10218 |
