Dylan Robinson | Note | Big, stunner hit that separates puck from carrier. | Brian Fogarty | Windsor vs Saginaw (OHL) | Video (With Replay) | 11/23/2019 |
Dylan Robinson | Note | Takes the hit to make sure he gets the puck to the right player. | Brian Fogarty | Windsor vs Saginaw (OHL) | Video (With Replay) | 11/23/2019 |
Dylan Robinson | Note | Late in the period, in the offensive zone, keeping alert at the left point, and as the puck gets closer to the net, he gets closer himself. Puck hops to the slot, he jumps up, swivels his hips to shield the puck from a Saginaw player, and with that extra second is able to backhand the puck on net. Then he's immediately back out to his post at the blue line, checking the clock. | Brian Fogarty | Windsor vs Saginaw (OHL) | Video (With Replay) | 11/23/2019 |
Dylan Robinson | Note | Pinches into the corner, helps his team keep possession, then backs out to this spot again. As he does that, he waves his Center back towards the play down low. | Brian Fogarty | Windsor vs Saginaw (OHL) | Video (With Replay) | 11/23/2019 |
Dylan Robinson | Note | Good, simple zone clearance. | Brian Fogarty | Windsor vs Saginaw (OHL) | Video (With Replay) | 11/23/2019 |
Dylan Robinson | Summary | Robinson is a steady, heady defender who plays a shrewd positional game in his own end. Up ice, he stays responsible, but looks willing to pinch in and get involved in the offense if it doesn't involve too much risk. This is his first full-time OHL season even though he is a 2020 draft-eligible player. Despite his relative inexperience, he plays a lot of minutes on the blue line, with good hockey iq and a potential NHL career in the future. It will be interesting to see how his draft stock goes. He has the look now of a player who could be a late round pick or a player who gets passed by this season, but really stands out next year. | Brian Fogarty | Windsor vs Saginaw (OHL) | Video (With Replay) | 11/23/2019 |
