Damien Giroux | Summary | The fifth-round pick of the Minnesota Wild from the 2018 draft is on the small side at 5'10, 185, but he's not afraid to mix it up a bit and get his body into the game. He's a two-year captain for the Spirit, and its easy to see why in the way he plays. He's always working hard, battling for puck possession. He is not a prolific scorer, however, despite his decent stick skills. He missed the net too many times and some of his passes were off target. Skating is above average. At this point, it's hard to call him a projectable NHLer, but he could still make a nice professional career for himself in the AHL with a chance at the NHL if he can push hard on the development curve. | Brian Fogarty | Windsor vs Saginaw (OHL) | Video (With Replay) | 11/23/2019 |
