Note |
Uses his edges to adjust his angle, then a quick stick deflects a pass into the corner. |

Very good speed, maybe even better. (1.5-2.0, or 65-70) |

Note |
Carries the puck through the neutral zone with speed, has his eyes up, but looking at the puck a good bit, too. |

Established in the offensive zone, he's making good short passes through tight spaces. |

I like his stride. It's efficient and smooth without wasted movements. |

Shoulder-to-shoulder with Ethan Sakowich (who has a couple of inches and a few pounds on him), and Tschigerl loses his feet and spills onto the ice. |

Note |
Solid power move at speed, gets around the defender and drives the front of the net. Goalie made a nice save, but that was a good move from Tschigerl. |

Summary |
Tschigerl has very good or better speed, shows decent lateral quickness and edgework with tight turns and reaction speed. Shows a tenacity at both ends that will serve him well as he eventually progresses into professional hockey. His shot in this game looked okay, but he didn't get a lot of clean chances. At this point, he seems like a player relying primarily on his skating to make an impact on the game, but he also looks like a player that could improve his offensive game as he develops and gets more ice time and quality opportunities. A potential middle-six winger with some offensive upside. |
